Newcastle United
HistoryThe name Newcastle United was derived at a meeting in Bath Lane Hall in 1892. When Newcastle West End went out of existence in 1892, the remaining committee men invited East End to play at Newcastle West End's ground, St James Park in the heart of the city. The club agreed and changed their ten year old name, Newcastle East End to that of Newcastle United
