Thank you Primetime Recruitment - 08/12/2002

Thank you Primetime Recruitment
OB with the Primetime Recruitment boys - need a job? (Join the queue!)

As I’ve mentioned previously, Bryan Robson’s England shirt is now up on Barry Venison’s www.Bid4Sport.com site. It’s a unique shirt and comes with a signed letter of authenticity from the player himself. All proceeds go to the William Hardy Trust Fund, and with all the other items, we hope to raise something approaching £4000 to £5000. We’re presently on a figure of £2,180 as Alan Shearer’s shirt and a Nikos Dabizas T shirt have already been sold. Please bid generously and remember that all the funds go to William.

Just a personal thank you to Brent Pitcher of Primetime Recruitment. Nash (Lee Clark) introduced me to Brent quite a few years ago. We’ve been good mates ever since, he even used to go down to Bolton to see me play. As well as a great Newcastle fan, Brent’s done well in business and interestingly enough, Primetime Recruitment are now building links with a number of football clubs. They are the shirt sponsor of Huddersfield Town and have offices at a number of club grounds. From what I know they’re talking to the Newcastle with a view to supporting the youth academy.

The Bryan Robson shirt was donated as Robbo’s daughter, Claire, works for Primetime. They've also pulled in favours from a number of contacts within the game - all to the benefit of William. The picture was taken at the William Hardy Fundraising Ball, held in September, and shows Brent (second from right) with Andy OB, to the left are Kenny Richards and Michael Bulmer – both Primetime recruitment consultants based on the Newcastle Office.

Well, it was a great three points yesterday…and our impressive form at Villa Park continues. As well as the three points, I was very happy to see the defence keeping a clean sheet. Villa have scored a few at home this season, and although there were a few scrapes, that’s to be expected in an away game. We're sitting in a healthy position in the table, and we've already visited Man Utd, Liverpool, Arsenal, and Chelsea. Let’s just see if the lads at the back get any credit?
