Statement - 14/04/2005

There’s recently been some speculation about my position at City and about my relationship with the Gaffer.

No player chooses not to play on a Saturday afternoon and although I’m very disappointed not to be playing regularly, I fully appreciate that it’s the managers right to pick the team. Contrary to what people may say, I have a good relationship with Brian Tinnion and I will continue to respect as the manager of this football club.

All I can do is to train hard and make myself available for selection – and that is exactly what I’ve done.

I would also like to say that I am fit and have never missed a game through injury since I joined this club.
