Life goes on
A great man and we'll miss him

I have to admit that when I found out Brian Flynn had left the club, I was gutted. The gaffer was a big reason why I signed for Swansea, and now within weeks of joining the club on a permanent basis - he's gone. I hope that he gets back into football soon, for him and for football's sake. He's got great knowledge of the game, and he's also a really good bloke.

As a professional there's no point in getting upset, we've got to get on with it and the fact that we beat Scunthorpe 4-2, and were unlucky not to get all three points in a draw at Mansfield, just shows that we're backing Alan Curtis. We're only a couple of results away from the play-off's and as an individual and as part of a team, I can tell you that we're focused on the job in hand.

We've got Huddersfield on Saturday and with them on 66 points and us on 55, we need to get a win if we're going to challenge them. Even if they make the most of home advantage, we feel that Lincoln, Mansfield, and Yeovil are all catchable. We're in good spirits and we owe it to ourselves to take any chances that the teams above us offer. Brian Flynn will be missed but life at Swansea City will continue.
