The Arsenal match was good for us, but now it's Ipswich - 11/03/2002

The Arsenal match was good for us, but now it's Ipswich and we'll face a different challenge.

I think the Arsenal game went very well, we made some great chances against a great team and felt a lot better about ourselves after the game. I saw the highlights of their Champions League game against Deportivo and I thought they looked a little bit tired. They play Villa on Sunday and then Juventus mid-week, so I think they may not be 100% for the replay. I must say that I thought Clarence Acuna and Jamie McClen were excellent for us last Saturday, they won a great deal of 50/50 ball and both did well when with their distribution. The fact they were battling against Viera, one of the best midfielders in the world, gives them even more right to be proud of their respective perfomances.

With the Ipswich game coming up, the gaffer will have a tough decision to make when selecting his side! The media have mentioned that Kieron Dyer may play up-front with Al, but we'll have to wait and see. On paper the game looks like an easy 3 points, but that's on paper, we'll face a team struggling against relegation who will fight hard for their Premiership place. Look what happened when we faced Leciester, we have to focus and be determined to make sure we get the win. They also have some decent players so we won't be thinking anything is automatic.
