This was a special game, for the fans and for the players. Definitely a point won rather than two lost – even though we could have nicked it in the final few seconds. I saw the TV interviews with the gaffer and Al after the game and they talked about the spirit of the players. Believe me, this is something special. I admit that we were outplayed at certain times last night, but Liverpool are an excellent team and when you play teams such as this, you have to accept that there will be periods during the game when they will dominate. They were playing at home and of course, this does make a difference. But we fought back, and even though I sitting on the bench, I was willing us to get an equaliser. We’ll never give up on a game and we always believe in ourselves, this is our spirit, and it'll win us points even when we’re behind.

I was also asked about Didi Hamman’s goal, and whether I had words with Shay, the answer is no, absolutely not. OK, I couldn’t control his ball and it fell to Didi, he took it well and we were one down. These things happen in football, so lets put it behind us and look forward to the next game.
