Relief as we get our first win! - 11/09/2002

The 2-0 win at home to Moor Green was very welcome. I’ve been talking about turning the corner and I hope this victory has put us on the right track. We’ve got Chippenham away on Saturday, they’re in a mid-table spot at the moment and we travel there with a strong will to get at least a draw out of the game.

I’m still concerned about injuries, there were seven out last night and we were forced to use a seventeen year old keeper, Samu Harmainen who’s joined us on loan from Derby County. He looks to have a bright future in front of him, and if we help each other out, then great! The immediate goal is to pick some more points up, but when we get the injured lads back we’ll be really looking forward to giving it a good crack, first things first…Chippenham!
