Allen pays tribute to Hunt - 23/04/2004

Martin Allen today paid tribute to Stephen Hunt for playing through the pain barrier to keep Brentford in Division Two.

The 23-year-old is struggling with a groin injury but has still featured in every game since Allen took charge last month.

The Brentford manager, whose side are at home to Wycombe tomorrow, said: "It is very rare that I would pick out an individual for praise, but when they are putting their neck on the line it is deserved. He has typified our spirit."
