   Sir Bobby Robson

After a great start, we let it slip against Gillingham. Obviously I’m very disappointed not to pick up another three points, but it’s not all doom and gloom and I genuinely think the result may be a slap in the face - a wake up call we needed. As I mentioned after the Reading game, teams are going to raise their game when they play us. Andy Hessenthaler has built a very well organised team. They worked the flanks well and reminded me of my old Wimbledon side in that they were really up for it. I was playing at centre-half, and whilst it’s not my favoured position, I’ve played there for Bobby Robson and more recently during a few of the pre-season games. All we can do now is look to the next game at Blundell Park and set our minds on getting back on track.
